We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about products and services, to make a reservation, or completing relevant forms for tenancies or landlords.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. If you make a reservation or complete a tenancy form we will collect your date of birth, National Insurance details, Visa details (if applicable) and next of kin/guarantor details, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

Obtain Credit Check through NLA (National Landlords Association)
Check previous landlords using your previous address
Process payments
Process a reservation or tenancy agreement;
To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;

Send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest
to you. These may include information about campaigns, appeals, other fundraising
activities, promotions of our associated companies goods and services;

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of id). We will hold your personal information on our systems for 6 years as is required.
In the situation of you being a Landlord we hold bank details on our payment system payprop.

In the case of a tenant, we will destroy any personal data we hold for you 6 years after your end of tenancy. If you agreed to received information about future services and offers your email and phone number will be kept indefinitely however you can ask to be removed at anytime.
In the case of a landlord, we will destroy any data we have when you terminate your contract with us. If you agreed to receiving information about services and offers your email and phone number will be kept indefinitely however you can ask to be removed at anytime.
16 or Under
We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.
